Me and Chat GPT

I've always loved art. Drawing, creating, and experimenting with new ideas have been hobby of mine for years. Unfortunately, finding the time to actually sit down and draw is another story.

So when I came up with the idea of turning a group of middle-aged women into cartoon chickens, I decided to enlist a little help.

Enter ChatGPT.

Now, I had some pretty specific ideas about what these chickens should look like. They needed personalities, attitudes, cute outfits, and just the right amount of sass.

How hard could that be?

Well, let me tell you.

ChatGPT and I have developed quite the working relationship. I come up with an idea, it creates an image, and then we spend the next twenty minutes discussing why my chickens have suddenly grown wattles, changed clothes, or developed extra body parts.

Seriously, I have spent more time discussing chicken wattles with artificial intelligence than I ever imagined possible.

Apparently, AI and I have very different opinions about chicken anatomy.

When I say "butt," I mean a funny, fluffy chicken butt. Nothing scandalous. Just a chicken showing off her tailfeathers.

Apparently, the image maker and I don't always agree on that distinction. On more than one occasion, I've been informed that my perfectly innocent request might be breaking the rules.

So I've learned that you have to be very careful how you talk to an AI image maker.

Who knew asking for a chicken butt could get you into so much trouble?

And considering one of my chickens is actually named Snicker Butt, I suspect we're going to have a long and complicated relationship.

But somewhere between the unexpected feathers, questionable fashion choices, and more than a few creative disasters, something pretty wonderful happened.

The Hen House came to life.

Chuckle Cheeks, Cackle Pants, and Snicker Butt now have their own personalities, adventures, and plenty of attitude. And we're getting ready to introduce Sassy Britches, who I'm sure will bring her own share of trouble.

What started as a little creative experiment has turned into a whole new adventure. I've been learning about graphic design, creating products, building a website, and discovering just how much patience it takes to convince a computer that a chicken really doesn't need another leg.

Someday, I fully intend to sit down with my pencils and draw these ladies myself. But for now, I'm having a wonderful time combining my imagination, my love of art, and a little modern technology.

This blog will be a place to share the journey — the successes, the disasters, the things I've learned, and some of the hilariously strange things that happen when a woman with an imagination teams up with artificial intelligence.

I'm still learning how to talk to AI. Apparently, it speaks fluent chicken, but chicken butt is another language entirely.

Welcome to Talk to the Tailfeathers. Things might get a little clucky around here!
